    Una piccola rivista cartacea dedicata all’agroalimentare con un obiettivo grande: informare tutti, con passione e competenza, in modo gratuito. Perché il cibo fa parte della nostra cultura e gustarlo, conoscendolo, fa vivere meglio e più felici.

    A small paper magazine that speak about agribusiness. The great goal is to inform everyone for free, using passion and competence. The reason wht is that cause food is part of our culture it makes us live better and happier if as well as we taste it we know it.

    CiBi nasce per rispondere alle domande, ai dubbi, alle curiosità dei consumatori. Ci sembra una buona idea farlo senza prendere posizione in anticipo per una tesi o per l’altra, ma ascoltando tutte le campane e riferendo tutti i punti di vista.

    Si parlerà di alimentazione. Mangiamo da 3 a 5 volte al giorno (e beviamo anche di più) eppure spesso siamo incerti: quello che metto nel piatto, o nel bicchiere, è sano e sicuro? È utile leggere le etichette dei prodotti? E i rifiuti, ha senso impazzire per dividere una cosa dall’altra?

    CiBi metterà a confronto diverse opinioni su tanti temi diversi, consultando le fonti più attendibili, agronomi, chimici, nutrizionisti… ma parlerà anche con chi l’esperienza se la fa ‘sul campo’, occupandosi della spesa, cucinando, mangiando e bevendo.

    E dedicherà attenzione a chi ci riempie il piatto: coltivatori, allevatori, ristoratori…. Molti operatori riescono a raggiungere risultati di altissimo livello, nonostante le mille difficoltà di questi tempi difficili. Le vendite dirette, dal produttore al consumatore, sono vantaggiose per entrambi.

    Il progetto è impegnativo: due strumenti: la rivista gratuita, di carta, e il sito www.cibiexpo.it.

    The Accademia dei Georgofili was founded in Florence in 1753 by Ubaldo Montelatici,  he was aiming to “make continuous and well-regulated experiences, and observations, to bring to perfection the art that is so good for Tuscan cultivation”.

    The Accademia dei Georgofili aims to contribute to: progress of the sciences; science applications to agriculture; environment and agricultural territory protection.

    It is the oldest agricultural academy all over the world and it has always sought to organize debates and to compare scientific ideas and discoveries. It aims also to direct politics in the interests of the common good.

    Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche (Cnr) it is the largest public research organization in Italy. It was founded in 1923, in the past it has worked as a government consultant about research and as a funding fund for university research grants.

    Since 1989 the CNR is a research organization. CNR pursues the missions of: carrying out research projects, promoting national industrial system innovation and competitiveness, promoting national research system internationalization, contributing to implement technologies and solutions in accord with needs in the public and private sectors.

    All these objectives are achieved through over 8000 employees human resources, half of which is represented by researchers and technologists. About 4,000 young researchers are involved in post-doctoral research activities into the CNR laboratories. An important contribution comes from collaborations, including international ones, with universities and companies researchers.

    The CNR’s Press Office summarize scientific relevance and ‘journalistic’ news, it enhances the information acquired by Offices, Departments and Institutes. In addition to the press releases spreading, the Office creates the Almanacco della Scienza web magazine, co-organizes press conferences and dissemination and scientific communication events, and collaborates in various publishing initiatives.

    The press review is built also thanking to external service. It monitors several thousands of newspapers, printed media, radio-TV, web and agencies, with a nearly complete CNR’s citations coverage.

    Mediterranea online is a web magazine, which aims to spread the culture of dialogue in the Mediterranean.

    We imagine the sea as a meeting place between different cultures and the Internet as the tool that will realize our idea, especially among younger people.

    Our History

    In 2007, the Mediterranean Cultural Association (no-profit organization) was set up to manage the work of the magazine.

    From 2007 Association became a partner of the Anna Lindh Foundation.

    In 2008, the magazine became a real newspaper with the registration at the Court of Cagliari.

    In 2010 the Ministry of Research assigns the ISSN code to Mediterraneaonline for valuable magazines and periodicals. The articles published in our magazine become scientific publications, valid for the awarding of scholarships, for the scores in doctoral competitions and at the University.

    Mediterranea has received praise from web or TV journalists, from Silvio Luise to Pier Luigi Zanata

    We have been included in the list of quality magazines in Italy in the book by Oliviero Beha “The new monsters”

    Mediterraneaonline.eu has been awarded with the prestigious eContent Award 2009, 2010, 2011, and 2012 in the culture section (eCulture & Heritage), in 2015 won the first national award in the eMedia & Journalism category.

    His site wants to bring to the world the smell of genuine Lucanian cuisine and all those local products now replaced by those of the GDO.

    Lucania is synonymous with good food.

    The bread pane di Matera, the wine Aglianico del Vulture (ancient Ellenicus wine), the evo oil olio extravergine di oliva Vulture, and specialities like beans fagioli di Sarconi, cheese pecorino canestrato di Moliterno, aubergines melanzane di Rotonda, pepper peperoni di Senise, cheese caciocavallo silano and cheese podolico, han prosciutto di Marsicovetere.

    In short, this land has many typical dishes, whose flavors, based on simple and natural elements, are the synthesis of ancient traditions and a thousand-year history.
